Individual Counselling
Individual counselling means that I will work with you on a one to one basis. Working alongside you, I will help you with whatever is troubling you by first of all understanding what is going on within you and in relation to others and then helping you to work through these to find some resolution. As the process of therapy unfolds new aspects of yourself can be uncovered; or perhaps new insights and understanding of yourself could become more clear. In this way counselling can provide clients with the opportunity for personal development and growth.

What to do next?
The first thing to do is to contact me on 07765 660545 or maria@edinburghcounsellor.com or through the contact form to discuss your reason for seeking counselling and whether I feel I can help you. If this is the case then we would book an initial appointment and use this first session to go into more detail about your difficulty, your motivation for seeking counselling, for me to assess whether I am the best person to help you and also whether we both feel we can work together.
